Echo Chamber, Game, Big Data, Data Bubble, Information Flow, Bias
In this work I try to explore the causes of bias. I found an effect called Information Cocoons or Echo Chamber. Your views and belief will be repeated again and again and unconsciously magnified or twisted inside this closed system. It means the internet knows your taste and preference so that to recommend you information accurately. Your point of view represents the mainstream. That’s why bias and misunderstanding occur.
So I made this paper wheel game. It's like a bubble, constantly generating information flow. We are just like a hamster. It seems to be a lot of options, but in fact we can only accept passively. The only way to win this game is to break the bubble and connect them to create a new open community.
